FAQs

What is the allergy testing process?

The doctor may recommend an allergy test to see what triggers symptoms. Tests can be blood tests or skin tests. In the skin test, a tiny bit of an allergen is placed on the skin and pricked with a needle; swelling/redness around the prick indicates an allergen within about 20 minutes.

What testing and treatment services are offered?

We offer a full range of testing and evidence-based treatment services, from skin and lung testing to high-tech therapies, with a plan to manage and reduce flare-ups.

What should I do if I experience an allergic reaction?

If you experience a reaction, your provider will assess and recommend steps, which may include lifestyle changes or medication to prevent future flare-ups.

Can you show how to use an EpiPen?

Yes, we can show you how to use an EpiPen® if needed.
