What should I expect at my first physical therapy visit?

We receive many first-time physical therapy patients who come in thinking their treatments will be painful. Our therapists use tools to relieve pain while improving function, and we offer a consultation to get started.

Physical therapy restores strength, endurance, flexibility and stability for people who are injured, in pain, or have experienced an illness—through therapeutic exercise to restore function and live a pain-free life.
