Office visits: How are visits scheduled?

Office visits are scheduled by appointment only. If you have an emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room. To avoid scheduling conflicts, please call as far in advance to make an appointment.

New patient arrival

New patients should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time for registration purposes.

What to bring to an appointment

Patients should bring their insurance cards and state issued photo ID to each appointment.

Appointment cancellations

If you are going to be unable to keep your appointment, please call as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Insurance and referrals

Western Kentucky Heart and Lung Associates accepts most insurance plans. Some insurers may require a referral to be seen by a specialist.

Prescription refills

For prescription refills, please contact your pharmacist during regular office hours. The pharmacist will contact our office for authorization of your refill.

PLEASE NOTE: Patients seen August 1, 2024 and after may access their medical record information through Med Center Health’s MyRecord patient portal. Patients seen July 31, 2024 and before may access their information through the WKHL patient portal.
