Do you accept my insurance?

Canon City Physiotherapy participates with most of the major health insurance plans including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid, Optum Health-Medicare, United Healthcare, Tricare Prime and Standard, Work Comp, GEHA, Aetna, UMR, Cigna, Humana, TriWest VA, Meritain, Kaiser (New in 2025!), Colorado Access (Debbie only). Do I need a referral from my doctor for insurance to cover physical therapy?

Colorado is a direct-access state. You can be seen by a licensed physical therapist without a referral. Some insurances may still require a referral; this can be provided by your PCP or specialist. If you have questions, call 719-269-1142.

Am I responsible for paying my copay at time of service?

Yes. Copayments should be paid at the time of service. Check with your insurance or benefits information prior to your visit.

Do you accept credit cards as means of payment?

We process major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
