Do I need a prescription or referral?
North Carolina offers direct access to physical therapy care, meaning, no referral is necessary. The exception to this is for Medicare participants and specific plans selected by employers which require a physician referral for Physical Therapy and other specialty services. We are happy to verify this with your insurance company before beginning care.

Appointments are to be scheduled with our front desk, or by calling Charlotte One on One Physical Therapy at (980) 237-2302. After your initial appointment and a treatment plan is determined, we will typically schedule your follow-up appointments at check out.
What should I do if I am unable to keep my appointment?
We ask that you please cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance as a courtesy to other patients. In order to accommodate each patient’s schedule, reserving time slots is important in providing high quality, one on one care. Canceling an appointment at the last minute, or even the same day limits our ability to meet the needs of other patients. Please be aware that you will be charged $50 for a no-show or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice.
