Patients coming to the emergency room can expect to be seen by the physician within 30 minutes of their arrival.
Where are emergencies referred if surgery, critical care or diagnostics are not available in Cordova?
If your condition is not emergent you may be referred to our Primary Care Clinic. For emergencies requiring surgery, critical care, specialty care or diagnostic testing not available in Cordova, patients will be stabilized and transferred to another facility. Facilities most commonly used are in Anchorage and include Alaska Regional Hospital, Providence Alaska Medical Center, and Alaska Native Medical Center.
