How do I enroll in the weight management program?
To enroll in the program, complete a new patient packet and email it to MedicalWeightManagement@OhioHealth.com or fax to (614) 566-6776. After completing the packet, our team will call to schedule your enrollment visit.
What happens at the enrollment visit?
You will have one-on-one meetings with program experts, a provider for a detailed weight and medical history, physical exam, and review of test results, and an individual meeting with a dietitian to review a personalized meal plan.
What behavioral support is available?
You may schedule one to three appointments with our psychologists for support in behavior change related to stress management, sleep, coping strategies, and improving your relationship with food. Additional behavioral health services can be provided if beneficial.
Is there a group class or program component?
Yes, there is a 90-minute class taught by the team of clinicians, designed to connect with other participants and provide ongoing support.
