FAQs

What sleep disorders are treated?

Sleep apnea, Insomnia, Hypersomnia, and other sleep disorders.

What is involved in a sleep study?

A sleep study is safe, painless and involves monitoring breathing, heart rate and brain activity with small sensors placed on the head, chest and legs while you sleep. Results are reviewed by your doctor and discussed with you, typically available within two weeks.

How long does a sleep study take?

Plan to spend about eight hours for an in-lab sleep study (overnight if sleeping at night or during the day for night shifts). The time includes setup and monitoring.

How do I schedule a sleep study?

To schedule a home sleep test or in-lab study, you’ll need a doctor’s referral. Your doctor must order after a face-to-face or telemedicine visit with your doctor first.

Who can be seen at the sleep center?

Our sleep center sees patients 18 years and older. For pediatric testing, contact your child’s pediatrician.

How to access results?

Results are usually ready within two weeks and can be checked in the Patient Portal.
