Newman Regional Health (NRH) is a nonprofit teaching community hospital in Emporia, Kansas, founded in 1922. As Emporia’s primary community hospital, NRH offers a broad range of services including critical access hospital care, emergency services, cardiology, surgical services, orthopedics, primary and family medicine, pediatrics, labor and delivery, lab, imaging, urgent care, and hospice. It supports medical education via the ESU Newman Division of Nursing and is owned by Lyon County residents as a not-for-profit.
