General medical care for all ages, Family Planning, Mental/Behavioral Health, Substance abuse treatment, Case management services, Skilled nursing services, Laboratory services, Health education, Referrals to community resources.
What is the mobile unit like?
A custom designed 38 foot motor home with two exam rooms, a restroom, lab, pharmacy, a wheel chair lift and is supplied with the same equipment as a family doctor’s office.
Who can receive medical services from Open Door’s mobile unit?
Patients of all ages, including those who are homeless, in transitional housing, or who have difficulty scheduling appointments. Medical services are also provided to migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families.
