Will my prior authorization be affected?

A treatment plan may need to be re-authorized; our Prior Authorization team is working to complete authorizations quickly, but some delays (up to 30 days) from insurance companies may occur.

How are billing and payments handled after the transition?

If you received care at Helena Orthopaedic Clinic before the transition, you’ll receive a bill from Helena Orthopaedic Clinic with payment instructions. After transition, bills will come from St. Peter’s Health. For billing questions, call 406-447-2783.

Will my health records be accessible to St. Peter’s Health providers?

Yes. Providers will have access to your health records for ongoing care. If you need copies, call 406-447-5904 or visit the St. Peter’s Health Medical Records Department at 2500 Broadway.

Where will orthopedic services be located after the transition?

Most services can be provided at St. Peter’s Health Orthopedics on the 3rd floor of the Broadway Clinic, 2550 Broadway Street, Helena. Imaging like MRI may be at St. Peter’s Regional Medical Center, 2475 Broadway.

What is the MyChart arrangement after the transition?

As a St. Peter’s Health patient, you will have access to MyChart for online billing, appointments, messaging, and more. If you don’t have MyChart, you’ll receive activation information at your first appointment.
