Can I use you for my primary care?

We’re here for your urgent care needs when you can’t wait for an appointment with your primary provider, or if they’re unavailable. After your visit, we encourage you to follow up with your primary care doctor, especially for managing ongoing or chronic conditions.

How late are you open?

We’re open until 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and 7 p.m. on weekends. For a smooth visit, please arrive at least 15 minutes before closing to allow time for registration.

Will the provider write me a prescription or call in the medication?

Most prescriptions are sent electronically to your pharmacy before you leave our office. The only time you’ll receive a handwritten prescription is for controlled substances, like cough syrup with codeine or pain medication for a fracture.

What is my copay?

If your insurance card lists an office visit copay, we’ll collect that at check-in. If it’s not specified, we’ll work with your insurance company to confirm your copay or coinsurance. If you have an unmet deductible, you’ll need to pay that along with your co-pay, and we’ll bill any remaining balance. We’ll also notify you of any outstanding balances with our office or other CHI St. Vincent locations.
