What are urgent visits?
Urgent visits are for non-emergency, same-day care for a variety of non-life-threatening conditions. If life-threatening, proceed to Emergency Department or dial 911.

You can come directly to the urgent visits office on floor 1A of the North Building if you are sure you do not have COVID-19.
What are Urgent Visits available for?
Urgent Visits are available to established primary care patients and community members who wish to establish care with a primary care provider at Cheshire or our satellite locations in Walpole and Winchester. If you don’t have a primary care provider, we can start the paperwork during your Urgent Visit.
What should I do if I may have COVID-19 or influenza?
For symptoms that may be COVID-19 or influenza, we recommend home testing, if possible. If you have tested positive at home, please call your primary care team at 603-354-6760 for recommendations. If you are unable to obtain home testing, you will be asked to wear a mask upon arrival.

Shared records between our urgent visits team, your primary care team, and specialty medicine keep everyone on the same page. You can access your medical records and contact your provider through our shared myDH patient portal.
