Seven lab tests (PSA, total testosterone, CBC, CMP, A1c, TSH, urinalysis) and three questionnaires; screening for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and some cancers.
What is the 10-point Men’s Checkup?
New patients visiting Arkansas Urology Men’s Health Clinic will receive a “10-point Men’s Checkup” which consists of seven (7) lab tests ranging from a PSA for prostate cancer detection, total testosterone, as well as a comprehensive blood panel. Additionally, three questionnaires assist the physicians to understand symptoms of an enlarged prostate, sexual dysfunctions, as well as a sleep survey.
When should patients be seen for the free screening?
Patients will need to be seen before 9:30 a.m. for the free screening to ensure we get a more accurate reading for these tests.
