What should I expect at my initial OB-GYN appointment?
During the initial appointment, it is natural to feel a little nervous. The doctor will do blood and/or urine tests, take your blood pressure, and weigh you. They will also ask about your general health, your family’s medical history, and any concerns. A physical assessment will include an examination of your vagina, cervix, and breasts.
Do I need a referral to see an OB-GYN?
