- Charity Navigator: 3 out of 4 stars
Patients praise
- dedicated and helpful front desk staff
- case managers who go out of their way to assist patients
- on-site pharmacy providing low-cost medication
- some positive experiences with group therapy and drop-in center services
Common complaints
- long wait times for appointments
- unprofessional or uncaring medical staff/psychiatrists
- poor customer service and lack of empathy
- allegations of medical mismanagement (e.g., wrong diagnosis/medication)
- concerns regarding abrupt termination of patient care
- reports characterizing it as a pill mill with systemic abuse of patient rights
"I was a patient at Douglas Gardens for over 10 years. Although they do have very dedicated and helpful front desk staff... you still get what you pay for which is doctors who simply could care less about your welfare... She eventually made it a personal matter and decided to terminate me without notice, with no plan B, no refill, thus leaving me at risk of severe withdrawal syndromes."
— Patient review on LocalityBiz/A-Better-Place"El tiempo de espera es loquísimo, tienes una cita a una hora y olvídate que vas a estar esperando más de 30/50+ minutos para que te atiendan."
— Patient review on Birdeye"However, user feedback from Great Nonprofits presents a starkly contrasting view... Several clients have reported serious concerns, describing the center as a pill mill where patients feel that their rights are systematically abused."
