Do I need to see a doctor first?

Thanks to direct access, we can see any patient without a referral from a doctor for an initial evaluation. If our therapists believe that physical therapy is a good option for your needs, we can work with you and your physician to obtain a prescription for continued care. If your diagnosis requires additional expertise, we can also refer you to a specialist to handle your care.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Prescription for physical therapy from your referring physician (if applicable); Government issued photo ID; Insurance card(s); Patient forms (downloadable in PDF) to bring; if minor, a parent/guardian for first visit.

How long is the first appointment and follow-ups?

Your first appointment typically lasts 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. Following appointments usually last 30 minutes to 1 hour.

What should I expect during the first visit?

A thorough examination, review of physician recommendations, problem area assessment, discussion of injury/pain, and development of an effective treatment plan including manual therapy and a home program.

Do you accept insurances?

We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Tricare and workers’ compensation plans. We verify benefits before the initial visit.
