Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC) is a nonprofit, private healthcare facility based in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Founded in 2008, it operates as a Critical Access Hospital and Rural Outpatient Clinic, providing 24/7 emergency care and Level IV trauma services, along with inpatient services (including orthopedic and general surgery), primary care, and a broad range of specialties (cardiology, oncology with infusion, gastroenterology, neurology, women’s health, ENT, behavioral health, telemedicine, and diagnostic imaging). The center also functions as the local ambulance provider for an ~1800 square-mile service area and offers interfacility transfers, 9-1-1 response, community event coverage, and a training center.
