Northern Light AR Gould Hospital (formerly The Aroostook Medical Center) in Presque Isle, Maine, is a nonprofit, Level II trauma acute care hospital within the Northern Light Health network. It has a 161-bed capacity (89 at AR Gould Memorial and 72 at Aroostook Health Center), more than 60 physicians on staff, and over 1,000 employees. The hospital provides a broad range of services including advanced cancer care, cardiology, imaging, dialysis, sleep medicine, orthopedics, primary and pediatric care, OBGYN, emergency services, and mental/behavioral health.
