Urinary tract conditions (kidneys, ureter, bladder, urethra) and diseases of reproductive system; adrenal glands also treated.

Is a referral required for new patients?

Yes, a referral from your doctor is typically required.

What should I bring to my visit?

Please bring your current health insurance information and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.

Do I need a referral to see East Tennessee Urology?

Insurers often require a physician referral prior to your visit. We will attempt to contact your primary care physician, but it is your responsibility to confirm that a referral has been obtained.

How soon should I refill prescriptions?

Requests should be made during normal business hours before 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Refills are not handled on weekends or holidays.

How can I request a refill?

You can request a refill on the MyCovenantHealth Patient Portal or by calling your pharmacy.

What forms should I fill out before the visit?

Patient Information Form, Patient Registration Agreement, Authorization to Release Health Information, Notice of Privacy Practices.

Is there precertification for tests or procedures?

If a test or procedure is ordered by an East Tennessee Urology provider, staff will obtain necessary precertification on your behalf.

What should I do if I don’t arrive 30 minutes early?

We may ask you to reschedule to ensure efficient care.

You will receive a text message or email asking you to complete a confidential and secure survey about your visit.
