What are the walk-in hours and when can I schedule sick visits?
We offer same and next-day appointments. Our established patients have afternoon walk-in hours Monday – Friday, 4 – 5 PM. The walk-in hours are for acute sick visits only.
How do I schedule or register my child?
For new patients or transfers, call the office at 203.655.6000 to gather information and get your child registered.
What ages do you schedule for visits?
Visits are scheduled for various ages; from 1 month up to older children, with recommendations to have primary vaccines completed by age 2 years.
What about vaccines and flu prevention?
We follow CDC guidelines for injections to prevent flu and RSV; flu vaccines are recommended for eligible patients and flu clinics are held in the fall.
What are the delivery-related procedures for newborns?
At delivery, designate a pediatrician for the baby; hospital team will contact the pediatricians for you. The staff pediatrician at Stamford Hospital will meet the morning after delivery for initial assessment and sharing information with our practice.
How often should a child be seen for exams after age 5?
From age 5 until puberty, we prefer seeing your child once a year for exams, subject to insurance coverage.
