How can I make an appointment to come to your office?
You can schedule an appointment online or by call our Winchester clinic at (540) 667-1244 or our Purcellville clinic at (540) 441-4900.
How do I know if I need a referral for my office appointment?
Many insurance plans, especially HMO’s, require a referral or written authorization from your Primary Care Physician for each visit. Your PCP should be able to tell you if you need a referral but ultimately it is your responsibility to know if a referral or written authorization is required before each visit and to obtain one.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring your insurance card, co-payment owed, medical records pertaining to your visit, and any current medication list. New patients should print and bring the Patient Intake Forms.
What is the cancellation policy?
Notify us at 540-667-1244 at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. A $50 no-show fee may be billed for less than 24 hours’ notice.
What if I need to cancel an out-patient procedure?
Notify us at 540-667-1244. After-hours messages are available. Cancellations 72 hours in advance may incur a $150 charge.
Do you provide interpreter/translation services?
Winchester Gastroenterology offers translation services for over 300 languages through CyraCom, including Spanish and ASL. The interpreter can join via video or phone.
